Photography...

Mom and her girls. Jamie is a wonderful friend of mine. I took pictures of her, her cute hubbie and children back in the spring. They are an awesome family that started going to our church not to long ago. I got to know them at an event with the youth group. Jamie's mom was diagnosed with cancer a little while back and has been going through treatments. These pictures were actually taken the Sunday before they recieved wonderful news that the cancer was shrinking. These women are the sweetest and funniest girls around!!

Photography...

Eric and Heather have been friends of mine for a long time. Heather and I met when we were in the Youth Group at St. Mark United Methodist Church. Eric and I met in Spanish class when I was a freshman at Abbeville High School. We were learning how to say our street names in Spanish and ours was the same. Eric and Heather met at my 17th birthday party where we ate dinner at O'Charley's and went to play putt putt. It was all down hill from there. We have been through a lot over the years, but they will always remain wonderful friends.

They have been married for over 3 years now and they celebrated their anniversary while we were in Costa Rica this summer. They added a family member after they were married and her name is Maggie! Thank you guys for being such good photo subjects! :)

My Occupation...
Well I wouldn't really call it an occupation as much as a passion. I work for the CrossRoads Pregnancy Center in Greenwood, South Carolina. The CrossRoads Pregnancy Center has been in existence for over 20 years in the Greenwood Area. We serve women and men in the area by providing pregnancy tests, prenatal classes, parenting classes, material assistance and much more.

I first started working at the center as an intern when I was in school at Lander. The center has provided a place for me to use the gifts that God gave me and be a light for him. The center has undergone a huge renovation in the last month to provide revenue to help sustain us in this economy. We are putting up the "Great Wall of China" and making two buildings in one. We are renovating for the New ReSale Store!!!

The ReSale Store is going to be selling furniture, clothes, household items and much more! If you would like to donate to the center you can check out our website at www.crossroadspregnancysc.org

Below are some pics of the renovations!

Making fun out of something! :)

Joey McClinton (my daddy) doing what he does best, working hard!

Everything at the center is always a Team Effort!

Photography...
is something that I was interested in since a little child. My mom makes the joke that I have more cameras than she has had in her whole life time. I was the Editor of the yearbook my senior year (Eric Evans came up with the captions!). I took a photography class in college, but never had the time to keep up with it until now. I purchased a DSLR camera before my trip to Costa Rica! Here are some of the awesome pics that were taking with it! Enjoy!

As Life Goes By...

The more and more I justify the reason for not starting a blog, it just seems like it is the best way for me to show everybody about my life and all of the wonderful people following life with me!

I am going to use this blog to talk about some of the things that I love the most: my Jesus, my family, my friends, my job and my photography (or lack there of).

I will update form time to time. Stay tuned for more.... as life goes by.
